Leased over 9,000 net mineral acres for oil and gas exploration throughout the states of Colorado, Utah, California, Wyoming, and Kansas. Negotiated over 450 miles of easement and right-of-way (Water, Gas, Oil, Produced Water, Overhead Power) throughout Northern Colorado. Negotiated an array of surface use agreements for pad sites for my clients in Weld County, Colorado. Negotiated right-of-way for temporary water lines throughout Northern Colorado. Purchased hundreds of net mineral acres in Colorado/California for private clients.
Title
Abstracted, examined, and cured title for drill-site and pipeline right-of-way. Drafted highly complex abstracts, detailed title reports, curative title, and pertaining instruments. Researched existing rights-of-way and other real property encumbrances throughout the United States. Completed full record title due diligence on several major HBP purchases valuing a gross total of 2.5 billion. Preformed patent to present mineral and surface rights for extremely complex mineral and surface ownership. Calculated net and gross mineral interest and examined title specific to royalty interest such as overriding royalty, landowner royalty and working interest. Examined title for mining claims in Park County Colorado.
